So bamboo is toxic now ? Is Stainless steel any good? What about Porcelain? Silicone seems popular
What do I use as plates and utensils for baby 6 months ? Any recommendations
Most of my kitchen gear is stainless steel and I couldn’t be happier with it.
A lot of them are anodized (not paint, an electrical treatment of the metal itself that makes it more rust-resistant). This also means that they can come in rainbow and makes them fantastic baby toys. Oooh, colors…
This is also what we use for salad bowls and serving dishes and mixing bowls ... I don’t have to worry about setting it on a hot stove top. It’s oven safe. And it’s about as drop proof as it gets.
The, in my opinion pretty much only, downside is that they are not microwave safe. We have a couple glass dishes for the microwave.
