Ffestiniog Railway 2-4-0STT 'Blanche'

'Blanche' was originally built by the Hunslet works in Leeds for the Penrhyn Quarry Railway in 1893. When that line closed 70 years later, Blanche was purchased by the preserved Ffestiniog Railway and rebuilt to the form you see here, with an enlarged tender offering protection from the elements and a front pony truck.
This OO9 scale model was made by Bachmann and is simply exquisite. The firebox glows which I think is unique on something this small.
