"Good morning, OmniMedia viewers! I'm Mira Dross and this is 'Senate Watch'! Last night, the results of the Senate race were announced and to no-one's surprise, Culter Oji won the race with 87% of the planetary vote. Shortly after his victory speech, I was able to secure a short interview with the Senator Elect."

*The screen cuts to an establishing shot of the Kuat Shipyards in the midst of construction. It continues to pan out until the camera enters a small office overlooking the yard. Cutler sits across from Mira, both smiling at each other before the interview begins.\*

"Senator Elect Oji, I truly appreciate you taking a moment to speak with me." Mira starts.

"Of course. As my father enjoys saying, 'I'm always happy to oblige my friends and neighbors." Cutler replies.

"As many viewers watching will already know, you are now the 7th generation of your family to serve in this role. Not many planets can boast of a dynasty like yours; how do you think your family has managed it?" Mira asks.

Cutler softly laughs to himself before responding. "Well, I wouldn't say it's something we've ever 'boasted'. My family has always had a strong love for this world and our culture. We work hard to ensure this planet's people live as fruitfully as possible. My father, like his father and his father before him, to the start of our line, all understood one thing; this galaxy is vast. If we don't stand together, we will never earn our place amongst the stars."

Mira smiles wide, "That's truly wonderful. Speaking of your father, there are some rumors that his stepping down was more medically focused rather than morally focused. Any comment?"

"My father is just fine. Of course we appreciate the concerns but he simply wanted more time to spend with our family and travel the planet, enjoying the fruits of his labor. I fully supported his decision when he first spoke of it and I support him now. He's more than earned a rest." Cutler states.

Mira's smile lessens slightly as she continues, "While your planet seems quite content with your economy, there are other planets who worry about your family's direct ties to the business end of the Shipyard and that your appointment will only further shift the balance of power in the system. Do you have any thoughts?"

Cutler's smile lessens as well, "My planet's production is no different than any others. Part of the reason my family has stayed in office is because both the people and the Oji Corp trust in our judgement and our ability. I don't see droid manufacturers or bacta producers having to justify their products, so I see no need to question why shipmakers make ships, especially with the recent attacks. I would think that's more reason than ever to ensure we are ready."

"I understand. Well again, I thank you for taking a moment of your time before you head to your confirmation hearing on Coruscant." Mira replies as she stands up, extending her hand for a handshake.

*The scene cuts back to Mira in the holo-studio\*

"Senator Oji has just finished his confirmation hearing and is now official Kuat's representative. Only time will tell if his leadership will allow Kuat to continue to thrive. This is Mira Dross, OmniMedia."
