The sound of Lightsabers humming echos across the Temple gardens as students practice in the open space. A Nightsister in red robes clashes with a B1-A in a cloak, a Commando droid in a cloak stands beside a young Ithorian and helps adjust their grip on a lightsaber. Across the way a group of students sit in meditation alongside several droids doing likewise.
Varriss walks quietly through the gardens to the main structure, a modest building, though the foundation lines on the ground outside it mark out room for expansion as needed.
Inside it's a bustle of activity, mostly droids with their modifications hidden under cloaks, though some organics, most young or new.
A group of Nightsisters in labcoats emerge from the medical wing. Varriss's plans for the temple were far more modest than the old one, but a large medical wing was considered essential and all Jedi at the temple were offered courses in healing, for the public, the doors were open to the most at-risk non-Jedi patients.
The plan was not to run the Jedi order from Coruscant, but instead to use Coruscant as a meeting place for the Jedi factions. Of course, all Light Side organizations were welcome at the Temple, and it had facilities for training and living, but it was designed to be a marketplace of visions, where Jedi could come together to share and learn from each other.
The council room was laid out at the top of the building. A number of seats in a round room like the old one but with more seating and room. Every Jedi Temple would submit members from their ranks to represent them and their ideas on the council. For those who couldn't attend, hologram projectors were available.
Things were coming together, but, as useful as the droids were, they weren't enough. She about five hundred lightsabers from Moraband, and about fifty that had been recovered thanks to the program, thus around five and fifty hundred Jedi Droids. Not nearly enough, but, in time, with them acting primarily as trainers for the new generation, perhaps in a few generations, they could have a stronger order. She had to remind herself that quality in this case was essential, far more essential than quantity.
