Voiceover by Dinese Kough: "Armored security now protects the Senate after the assassination of Chancellor Hinch Beltane and the attempted coup by Dwarf Star Alliance terrorists and infiltrators, while there has been much confusion, the terrorists have been apprehended."

The Camera shows B1-M droids carrying the de-handed assassins out of the building, sacks covering their faces

"We were authorized by URA, RRR, Command, and the CFS leadership to provide security." An OOM unit wearing cool shades announces to the camera. "The Senate guard had been compromised by several members who had allowed and aided the assassination of our beloved Chancellor, while the situation is still being sorted out, we ask that people remain calm and not act on rumors, keep your ears open, we're working on sorting out the full story."

The Camera shifts to the Senate Bar, where Varriss Of Ovee pours herself a cup of Caf. "The Dwarf Star Alliance is a band of cultist terrorists who believe that if they cause enough chaos, they can unleash the mythical dark spirit of Abeloth. However, thankfully the Heroic Luke Skywalker is ensuring that this Force Myth cannot escape, thus these cultist terrorists seek to spread confusion and disarray to distract us from stopping their foolish crusade. Therefore I must ask for calm and rationality. Hot heads and chaos are exactly what they want to happen, and I don't like doing what cultist terrorists want me to do."

"And what of the reports of Senator Vandel's involvement?"

Varriss nods solemnly "The rumors of a coup. There was confusion and chaos, the Chancellor's death included a lot of misinformation, some of which was very deliberately targeted and well prepared, and it led to confusion about who was on who's side, who was compromised, and while yes, Vandelhelm forces did land, they did so under what we now know were fraudulent orders from someone pretending to be the Chancellor designed to spark a civil war. Thankfully however, this Republic is united now more than ever since our enemy has overplayed their hand and revealed their tricks!"

"Some people are suggesting this is an FSF coup, how do you respond to that?"

"If I wanted to be Chancellor I had enough support to win the office without having to launch a coup. But I believe in Senator Organa, and with our backing, she would have the office without a coup as well and the RRR forces are in now way sufficient to hold the planet if were actually launching a coup. The RRR 3rd army will only remain here until the Senate Guard have been cleared and purged of moles, and the Senate believes the situation to be secure. The third army was brought in because droids don't fall for Darkside Force Cults of chaos, especially not B1-Ms. Their programming is vetted and was checked on the flight over here. We needed a security force we could count on."

The Camera shifts to outside where B1-M droids are saluting as a New Republic symbol appears over a Command post.
