The Camera shows the stocky figure of the Morlani Secretary of Defense, Linus Mosk meeting with members of the Corporate Sector Authority in a business room in an upscale Mondder conference center, cameras flash as he sits opposite a stiff and well-dressed man with champaign between them.

"This war against Zsinj won't last forever, and the CSA is a logical partner to work with MVC to help transition away from the war footing and into a far more profitable peacetime, and I look forward to continuing to work with Mr Pryde to accomplish that!" Mosk announces, toasting his glass.

Enric Pryde smiles. "Indeed, we have been keeping an eye on MVC for some time, as someone on the board for the CSA's defense forces, we have been watching the performance of the Gold Eagles, and we are interested in acquiring some for ourselves!"

A reporter raises their hand. "This is Corp Finance times. When will the occupation of Bonadan end, and is any deal dependent on that?"

Mosk laughs. "Are we really going to let that silly squabble get in the way of our business? The factories are working, whatever that political shit," He pauses. "Sorry, just whatever that politics is, let's not let it get in the way of creating some mutually beneficial prosperity."

"I agree, while I look forward to removing the droids there, I also want the perpetrators of the false flag attack put to justice, so long as they're not limiting operations, there's no reason to press the issue," Pryde adds, far less convincingly.

Another reporter raises their hand. "This is Kyle Solar, FNM, we've heard reports that there might be joint research done, is this true?"

"We're still working on it, but hopefully," Pryde replies far more confidently, distracted slightly by a figure in a blue trench coat entering the room and sitting down at the back of the room

Kyle Solar and Dinese Kough walk down the streets of Mondder silently, their eyes peeled and watching, they were being watched, by both their security team, and the CSA Security teams. Finally they they stop and enter a large hotel.

"Welcome back sir!" Mosk says excitedly as the pair enter a large suite. "Ms. Kough." He nods respectfully. "You find anything?"

Dinese nods and takes the button off of her jacket, "Not much but there is something going on beyond the CSA."

"I agree." Mosk states, motioning for them to sit on his couch. "That man, he was really really eager to get his hands on our designs, and wanted no questions or anything like that."

"Only problem is, he didn't do it." Zolumvo announces, walking in and locking the door behind him. "He's not involved in the frame-up,"

Kyle frowns. "But you agree he's hiding something?"

"Oh absolutely, we'll need to keep these discussions going,"

"Need me to wear a wire to the next closed doors?" Mosk asks tapping on one of his buttons.

"Nah, just write it all out, I trust your memory."

Kyle pours him and Dinese a cup of tea. "So, who is behind it?"

Zolumvo activates a projector showing names with lines between them. "It's a mess, but we have a lot of small ones, and some big ones, and so far I'm seeing almost half of the board is in some way with some of the assassinations, but, the actual false flag, we're only looking at two or three, but they're prominent and overlap."

Mosk pours himself a brandy and leans back. "Tell me what I gotta do,"

"You three just keep playing the negotiation angle, ask to speak to more of the board and expand the scope of the deal. I'm going to put pressure on this Pryde guy, but I'm going to make him think I'm only after the frame job, he might put pressure on the board to turn over the people who were actually behind it."

"Good, and afterward, we can turn on him next," Dinese says smiling. "I always hated having to deal with the CSA as Governor, I look forward to prying them apart piece by piece."

Kyle nods "It's nice to be investigating again."

"Reminds me of the old days and our first mission!" Mosk agrees, "Oh how the times change!"
