I don’t just give people stretches. I figure out for my patients what or where the restriction is occurring and address that. Typically the spine is the culprit.
I don’t just give people strengthening exercise without knowing why there is weakness. Typically, the lack of movement in the spine (stiffness) prevents the muscles from moving effectively hence it becomes tight as a protective mechanism and ineffective in performing is task which is to move a body part.
