What is the name of the little tongue with the pinouts called?
That's directly related to the follow-up: can USB ports be repaired at all?
I got one that's got a slightly wiggly tongue, and the device won't charge unless there's a little pressure on the plug.
While I'm waiting on the replacement part, I'm just wondering if there's anything that can be done without/until the full removal replacement.
I really hate this kind of soldering, which means that there's probably no other fix, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Thanks in advance for suggestions, bad news, and maybe sympathy from anyone else who hates this kind of soldering.
