An Idea For Mobile DJ's Who Need Reliable WiFi
Post Body

I have a Ubiquiti L/R access point, though I am sure any gamer brands at best buy will suffice, and I have an Alfa AC1900 WiFi usb Adapter. When I gig and its required for me have an extended catalog, I tell the venue to let me plug in my WiFi AP and the Alfa adapter has the range and speed, even during peak, to keep me interfaced with the stream services into Serato. Its important to have a pro wifi access point as it will have the radio technology to overcome all the devices in the vicinity when its peak hour. It also MUST be in access point mode, router mode will add slight complexity to the whole setup.
There are also point to point systems that have half-mile range so that the DJ rig can connect to internet from a field. Downloads take slightly longer but if you have multi-decks, not such a problem at all to have a track loading while other platters are turning. Any pro should have a hard drive loaded with tracks anyway.

Just offering this as an idea for anyone who depends on WiFi with their DJ rig.
