Taking Pictures of the Equipment or Photoshop
Post Body

How have some of you advertised your sound system? Do we still take pictures? Does a white sheet backdrop and well adjusted lighting cut it?
I am upstarting my mobile Dj business. For right now I have a Seismic Audio Power Line Array with single 12" inch sub. It's got a lot of clarity and the few gigs I've played, it held down pretty well. I then have a single light post with a single Disco Effect Light Box (one of those with the squares that move) and straight up one of those turning party bulbs for $15 on an adapter - but just these two lights and a strobe held down a medium sized 150 person corporate gig in a hall - but I think my music selection and skill compensated for the minimalist hardware.

So I am going to take pictures of my set but I don't have the second sub or the Gigbar2 I intend to have. My goal was to take pictures of my system and then doctor in a second seismic audio system and immediately buy another DJ light. Then what I will do is sell my current package until someone requests the big system but book the big system far out enough that I can buy the second SA Power Line Array before the gig. Am I playing with fire here?
