Is the Corey Kluber/Emmanuel Clase Trade one of the most lopsided in MLB history?
Post Body

I say yes. Consider this: The Cleveland Indians received their 3x and counting All Star (soon to be all-time franchise leader) closer who's still only 26. The Rangers got ONE strikeout from Kluber. Imho, that's as one-sided as it gets. All replies are welcome.

The year one returns made it seem not so bad when Clase was suspended 80 games for PEDs… but as a Rangers fan, this one stings pretty bad now!

Edit: if we held on to Clase, we probably don’t trade for Aroldis Chapman last year and Cole Ragans might still be a Ranger.

I think we do with Clase instead of Chapman!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset about the championship, but I don’t think the trade and the WS title have any correlation.

I’m with you, I’m also a big believer of hindsight being 20/20… but it’s fun to play devils advocate too
