Baseball playoffs used to have the most drama, not anymore. No drama. No winner take all games in the first round. 7 of the 8 first round series the last two years have been sweeps. The one game playoff game was more exciting and had drama. Even a game 163 tiebreaker was more exciting. That is gone as well.

The worst issue is the seeding that baseball does for the playoffs. They do the bracket. Trying to market it like March Madness. MLB, hello no one is filling out a bracket for the baseball playoffs! They need to reseed after each round. The two best teams in each league shouldn't be playing in the second round. The NFL does reseeding for their playoff teams and I would say they are pretty successful.
