Hello /r/Mizzou, we have an important update.

As we've said in previous threads, the events on campus caught our small mod-team off guard. We've been working to get some easily understandable rules and other configurations in place to allow us to handle the surge in traffic we've been getting.

Our subreddit rules are now available for you to check out on our sidebar, and we've also put in place some auto-moderation tools that will alert us to abusive content if it's posted here.

With those changes, we're happy to say that we're allowing commenting on the sub to go back to normal (that is, we are no longer filtering content as it's posted).

What we'd ask you to do as the conversation continues on this sub includes:

• Keep it civil.

• Use the report button for comments or posts that you feel violate our community standards or site-wide Reddit standards.

• Use the vote button for quality, not just simply for content that you agree or disagree with.

• Use the space below to discuss the sub rules, this post or anything else you'd like us to know about the sub.
