Client sent over “raw vocals” for mixing but the actual takes have wayyy too much compression going on.

Anybody got tips for removing distortion from overly compressed vocals?

EDIT: thanks tapping in foos. I got the raw vocals from dude and wow they’re just as bad. This guy must’ve had his gain on max while recording... any advice there?
