Small Streamer & Modding?

I was wondering if there is any kind of small streamer community within Mixer? I have tried Twitch and I just can't get down with it. Also is modding for bigger streamers a good way to do that I know most steamers don't like to have ppl promoting within the chat but i was thinking foot in the door.
