Ever been accused of being “transracial”?

It always blows my mind because like… the basis of the argument is that I look “too white” to be telling the truth about being mixed, so people assume im lying for attention but like- If I were trying to “pass” as black for attention… would I not have, like, tanned my skin, permed my hair, etc. If the reason you think that im ‘transracial’ is bc im too white, then how would I be “playing/pretending to be black” at the same time? Make it make sense 😔
