Perkins loan repayment

Recent grad, looking at paying off my student loan debt. I can't find info on the MIT site about how repaying the Perkins loan works, does anyone have experience doing so? I figure asking here might give a quicker answer than asking MIT SFS; I'll send them an email too and post the answer tomorrow if no one responds.
