I am looking to organize a 5k fundraiser in mid October for CRMO awareness.

My son is a local 14 year old with Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis (crmo)as well as many other diagnosis such as Pyoderma Gangrenosum and Trisomy 1.

October is CRMO awareness month and the 6th annual 5k (but first ever in Missoula!).

CRMO is a very painful auto inflammatory condition that causes bones to build up and break down in a chaotic fashion. He has had multiple spinal compression fractures from it and requires follow up in Seattle at childrens hospital frequently.

In March we spent 2 weeks in Seattle due to a super infection of pseudomonas auerginosa and we will be going back in August for more scans and doctor appoints with genetics and orthopedics.

I am looking for a group of people who would like to help organize the event and get the word out.

So far my employer and my sons dentist office have expressed interest in joining in.
