What: A 90-minute, free public forum on topics related to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

When: Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6:00PM to 7:30PM, reservations not required

Where: Biloxi, Dept. of Marine Resources, Commission Room, 1141 Bayview Avenue (Old Biloxi Hospital); Jackson, Museum of Natural Science, Auditorium; Oxford, Univ. of Mississsippi, Guyton Annex, Rm. 210

Why: To provide the public with current information on impacts from the oil spill - presented at a middle school level of understanding.

During the 90-minute, free forum, participants will hear from experts on topics that relate to ongoing oil spill research in the short- and long-term effects on marine mammals, habitats, and fisheries (panel presentation-70 min. and Q&A 20-min.)
