Restaurants on HWY 98 between Lucedale and Hattiesburg

I have to meet someone along highway 98 in the vicinity of New Augusta, Beaumont, McLain. We were hoping to be able to have a late lunch or early dinner meal in the area. I’ve been through the area, but not familiar enough to know if there are any options. I’m sure there aren’t many if there are.

Am hoping there is something other than gas station food or Subway. Maybe a Mexican restaurant. Or maybe at least pick up Subway and take it somewhere close and let the dogs run.

Any suggestions, recommendations, ideas?
