I'll be passing through your state in mid-September, going west to east but I'm not sure whether I'll be coming from Arkansas or Louisiana. To be honest, I know NOTHING about Mississippi, but I think everywhere has its special places and I'd love to explore your backyard while I'm there. If you know a yummy roadside restaurant, weird roadside attraction, blooming gardens, favorite festival/rodeo, cool market, interesting museum, beautiful dispersed/primitive camp or boondocking area, or other random thing I shouldn't leave your state without experiencing, please share!
I enjoy connecting with people and discovering new places. Of particular interest to me are: pottery/ceramics studios, artistry or craftsmanship, historical stuff, and pretty, safe spots to camp or sleep in the car.
Thanks!
