Has anyone had success with doing cognitive behavioral therapy?
Post Body

I’ve read that some people are helped by CBT, but have a hard time believing it. The articles were talking about how it helps you manage your negative reactions, which is bullshit. Basically, learn to hide your suffering for the convenience of everyone around you. The websites claiming that CBT is helpful were also not written by people with misophonia. I’ve seen other websites warning that exposure therapy, which is often a big part of CBT, is not helpful at all for people with misophonia and can actually make it worse.
