My girlfriends Rottweiler is very very prone to licking himself, to the point he's causing sores. But damn, that sound. I've had to leave the bedroom and sleep on the couch because it wakes me up instantly enraged. She doesnt understand misophonia and thinks I can just ignore it. I know it just as annoying for her to hear me constantly tell the dog to stop and I feel terrible. Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome this trigger?
