Hey everyone. I’ve recently noticed that exercise really helps curb my misophonia.
after a morning workout, i am able to withstand sounds throughout the day that would usually make me irrationally annoyed / upset / angry.
At night, I’m able to ignore (or at least co-exist with) sounds like the trickling of my fish tank that would usually make me feel stressed / restless / uneasy.
This is just a personal experience, and I don’t have any science to back it up. I also understand not everyone has the time or physical capabilities to exercise often. But if you can, you should really take advantage of that and see if it helps improves your symptoms at all.
