I was surprised by how much I liked seasons 4 and 5
Post Body

I watched Misfits a long time ago, almost back when it was coming out. I absolutely loved seasons 1 and 2. Then, I watched season 3 and I was so disappointed that Nathan left that it really made me enjoy season 3 a lot less. Rudy was a good character but he could never replace Nathan. After finishing season 3, I felt no reason to keep watching because most of the original cast was gone.

That being said, I recently did a rewatch. I got to season 3 and because I knew Nathan was leaving I was able to enjoy it a lot more. I still dislike the Nazi episode but other than that season 3 was a lot better than I remember it being. I decided to continue watching because if season 3 was better than I remember it being then maybe the next seasons will not be as bad as I think they would be. I continued and I actually really liked it. I feel like once they got rid of the last of the original cast that it got a lot better because it could just focus on the new cast, instead of holding onto what once was. I think season 5 was as good as seasons 1 and 2 were. Season 4 was good as well but, again, I felt like Curtis still being there was just a reminder of the first seasons, as well as it was missing Abbey and Alex, which I both like.

I just kind of wanted to talk about it because I just finished the show. I'm about to start watching Crazyhead, which is supposedly written by the same guy who wrote for Misfits, and cautiously waiting for the planned US version of Misfits (I say cautiously because US adaptations can easily go badly), as well as still being hopeful of the rumored movie that may or may not happen.
