basically title. i’m not looking to argue cause at the end of the day it’s just a show, this is just me sharing my opinion. ofc there’s a lot of marinette lovers but some of yall just love to hate on her. tbh i think she’s overhated. is she perfect? no ofc not, she was very obsessive over adrien to an unhealthy degree, but i feel like people forget she eventually moved on from that. marinette is literally a sweet kindhearted teenage girl who’s doing her best with the weight of the world on her shoulders. imagine you’re 14-15 and you have to take up this mantle of saving your entire city every day, becoming a protector of parisians as well as a role model while still having to keep up everything in your alter ego’s life. idk i just feel like marinette is overhated and critiqued too harshly without understanding what her character is: a TEENAGE girl with a big heart who just wants to help others.
