When to reset Account?

I have had mint account since 2012 and have never had real success using it for budgeting and tracking expenses. I have been in and out of mint throughout that period rarely more than a few months at a time. This year I'm making my finances a major goal. So my question is when is it worth it to create a new account? Or is it always better to go through the account reset/modify rules as needed?
