Alright guys, let's be honest. That fucking sucked but at the end of the day, I think this team needed to get punched in the mouth.
One of two things is going to happen out of this.
Darnold gets the "jitters" out in this game and plays well into the post season. It seems everyone saw his last few games and forgot that Darnold has never been in these games before with as much at stake as there was. Dude can play but the man's got shit to work through still.
We flop in the playoffs due to Darnold and there is zero question who will be the starter for the 2025 season. Which will sting but at the end of the day as the memes and everyone internally knew, while this season was magical in its own way, we were absolutely playing with house money.
All in all, this season has been an absolute blast and some of y'all need to stop letting this team dictate your emotional state. That "Minnesota Anxiety" really doesn't help, if you don't think players feel that line of tension that enters the room when the kicker goes out there you're crazy.
Be thankful for the fun we've had watching this team out performing every expectation and that we know that our head coach is a an absolute stud, even if he didn't call the best game last night. The future is bright in Minnesota and KOC is going to bring you along kicking and screaming if he has to.
Buck the fuck up, time to go take it to the Rams and then knock them off with more confident Darnold in the divisional round. You quit on this team now and you never deserved to watch them hoist that trophy in the first place.
