If you live in an area with a private well, providing water for you and/or livestock, get your well tested for coliform bacteria! Some counties are even providing kits on a limited basis, unsure of cost as I'm doing mine privately.
The MDH, Le Sueur County, Watonwan County, and Nicollet County are all suggesting you do so, because of the possibility contracting an illness from tainted supply (I'm assuming Legionella?).
If you had floodwater outside of 50 feet per MDH, just test it for bacteria (and Nitrates, as that's recommended yearly).
If you had floodwater within 50 feet of the well, test it immediately. If positive, work with a contractor (or DIY w/chlorine), retest. If it comes back positive again, keep repeating the testing and cleaning until it comes negative.
Just thought I'd share for the other rural folks!
FYI: City of Worthington Public Utilities & MVTL in Southern Minnesota are accredited by the state for testing, and cheaper than some of the other alternatives.
Even if you didn't have any flood water on your property, I'd still recommend testing as it should be done yearly anyways..
