Hey, I'm from Central MN (Darwin to be specific) and as a gay black guy, I feel lonely, isolated, unsafe, and haven't really found a sense of community. I'm 18 and am still learning to drive so my travel options are limited and I hate driving in the cities but ofc I'm at that age where I want some sort of companionship. I don't exactly trust dating apps and just prefer irl or meeting people through friends. so, I'd like to know if there's any spots around this area that I can check out or even support groups. As far as I know there aren't any things like that around here but hopefully I'm wrong. I know there's plenty of spaces like that in Saint Paul or Minneapolis but I just don't feel safe there yet tbh. and although I've lived here in MN my whole life, I know no one from the bigger cities let alone fellow gay guys so it'd be extreme culture shock lol. And I've always been shy so idk if big city life is for me. Anyways, If y'all have any advice or words of wisdom feel free to comment or DM me. I hope everyone has a good day and stay cool out there!
