I have been playing the guitar as a passive hobby for a while but only have been taking it seriously these past few months. Today was the first time I have ever performed on stage in front of an audience, and I was not prepared for the stage fright that ensued.
I bombed my act after trying twice, both times I received the most calming and welcoming support from the crowd. I have prepared for everything except for stage fright, it showed in my nervousness but now looking back I am proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone.
I am grateful for the encouragement and support from the audience at the Minnesota state fair talent contest tryouts. You guys rock. Big up’s to my wife for signing me, really blessed to be pushed to become who I am. Someone from the audience stopped me at my truck and told me I got a voice that isn’t around anymore and that I should keep trying. I am more than pumped to play again! Love y’all!!i
