Hi Mini Painters!

So, I've been painting miniatures (40k, Sigmar and Middle Earth) for around six months now. I started to feel like I was making good progress, however, tonight I am feeling really down in the dumps about my painting quality.

I have attached a link to photos of my most recent miniature, and I would love some guidance on how to improve. It never seems to look particularly 'clean', certain light coloured surfaces can look smudgy, and I'm not convince I'm using shades/washes properly. I would appreciate ANY and ALL advice when it comes to my painting.

Thanks guys!
