I quit using GW products a long time ago, and when looking for an alternative primer I stumbled onto Duplicolor Sandable Primer in Gray and it fast became my favorite minis primer to use. Then, after some time, I fell out of painting for several years. When I got back into it, I finished off the can I still had and went to buy more but discovered that they had changed the can of primer which made it a little more difficult to find. I eventually located it again and bought a case of 6 cans, only to discover that the coverage is not what it used to be. To say I am disappointed would be a gross understatement. I am hoping that it was just the one bad can and am gearing up to try a second one as a test case but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and/or if there is a good alternative anyone can recommend. I prefer a light gray primer on virtually all of my models, so any recommendations would need to be available in a gray color to be of any use.
