This past year I went full in on my mini painting. Having gotten back into the hobby just after the launch of 9th ed, I was hoping to take my hobby seriously when the job I had was low on hours. I started doing commissions; my first being a coworker's Custodes kill team. Over the course of the year I've painted over 120 minis, the most kind I've ever painted since starting the hobby back in 2008, and the majority were commissions from gamers all over Canada and the US.
I was able to paint and compete in 2 tournaments with my Leagues of Votann army as well! The 1st was Game Con Canada at Play-On Tabletop's narrative tournament and the 2nd was at the Tacoma Open! Both were great first experiences and I can't wait to hopefully attend at least one again in 2024.
I still got plenty to paint going into the new year, hopefully I can beat that number by this time next year!
