I am looking into FIFO work. All sounds great so far. Except I have my dog. I've only owned her for a year and don't want her to feel abandoned. Are there many companies that will facilitate a dog onsite? I am just looking into admin/project management so hopefully an office dog can be accepted by companies?
I'd also love stories on other FIFO workers who have pets and how they handle that situation. Keep in mind, I do not have a partner or close family. Only a housemate who is also working locally.
Edit: Thank you everyone. Exactly what I expected. My friend told me it's possible as she knows family who have done it but I was unsure.
Near where I am there's a kennel where people book their pets for a week while they're on. We've used them a bit when we've gone on holidays and they seem to be alright. It is fairly common I would imagine as Wednesday they said was their busiest day with pickup and drop offs.
