Broken things

Post Body

Today I saw my favorite mug in the back of the cupboard. Unused because i accidentally broke the handle YEARS ago. I kept it cause I was meaning to fix it. I then realized I have quite a few broken things (ripped clothes, nice camera that won’t turn on, broken earrings) that just sit collecting dust.

Part of me just thinks I should toss things as soon as I break them cause I probably won’t fix them and they’re just taking up space. But another part of me thinks it’s a bit ridiculous to throw things away as soon as they break.

How to reconcile?!?
