Predator 212 head gasket blowing
Post Body

So a predator 212 was recently built I had the head and deck machined and took down .030 and put on a .010 gasket and it keeps blowing out. Mind you I have done 4 motors like this with the same machine work and shop never had an issue. I used the copper spray gasket with 3 coats and 15 min per coat dry and assembled. Tried it a second time and after the install left the plug out and took inside the house for a dry of 24 hours in a zero humidity environment to no luck.

Anyone have the same issue? Iā€™m about to just cut the head down further and use a .040 gasket
