So. I have a Tilly stage 2 kit (racer) from go PowerSports I have built 4 of these at this point with the same kit and I use the VM22 carb the bike runs great at idle and from idle up to about mid rpm then it feels weak on the top end(still climbs) what’s strange is on occasion I get a loud pop during a decel after a pull but again no sign of lean

I’m running a 140 main and 38 pilot and according to the plug it’s perfect based on color and saturation.

I have checked lash and compression over and over as well as a 45 gap on the coil

Just to recap:

Billet flywheel Billet Rod Stock piston Hot .265 cam .10 head gasket 3910x plug 26lbs valve springs Lash set to .0030 at top dead center and checked twice 45 gap on coil Double checked timing marks on cam and crank
