Thanks to a bug report by /u/blobol, I spent some time with the website code that interacts with reddit. The old way was bad and wanted you to put in your password so the website could try to log in as you. The new way just uses reddit's built-in authentication mechanism. Just click a button and away you go!

Another improvement made, linking your reddit account with one Minecraft account will automatically remove it from other accounts. If you've changed your in-game name, no need to worry about removing the link from your old account -- just go through the process on the new account and it will remove the old link for you.

If you've got flair set but don't have your accounts linked, expect that flair to go away soon. However, linking the two accounts is easy!

1. Log into your account on https://www.minerap.com
2. Click the "Adjust to your preferences!" button in the bottom left
3. Click "Verify!" and allow MinerAp to view your reddit account's name.
