when lighting strikes sand, it turns the sand at the spot it hits into glass and has a chance to make a thunder egg. i dont know what you could use it for but itd be cool!
Edit: it could be used for decoration OR It could somehow give your weapon a lightning enchantment that could do similar to fire damage except it has a chance to paralyze enemies and it wouldn’t be too OP since it’s a rare chance you’ll even find a thunder egg anyways
