Make oceans larger, or at least add a world generation option for larger oceans.

It feels like ever since 1.7 or so, the entire Minecraft world has just been one gigantic landmass with lake-sized “oceans” in between. What happened to the old generation where there was discernible continents? I’d love to see that again, or at least as an option for terrain generation.
