Minecarts being pushed by Furnace Minecarts/Furnace Minecarts themselves damage and knock back anything they hit

With Furnace Minecarts having been made obsolete by powered rails (and even straight-up removed in Bedrock), what if they could serve as a utility for traps and moving around mobs? When they push a minecart into a mob (or hit a mob themselves) the impact could deal damage and knock the mob back a large distance. This would have plenty of uses like mob transportation and traps.
