Add copper wires! (Like redstone dust)

With the following features:
• Waterproof
• Goes on walls
• Goes on ceilings
• User can control what it connects to
•Edit: some kind of handicap that differs from reds tone dust
I think this would be a very good addition that could go well with the introduction of copper and lightning rods. Copper clearly works similarly in Minecraft to how it does in real life and realistically could be used for this. Tell me your opinions or ideas in the comments.
