Was this a spooky encounter at the Ambassador or am I crazy

Quick question, figured this would be the best place to ask to see if anyone had similar experiences. Stayed at the ambassador hotel last night and I had the fan set to run continuously. Probably 3-4 times that night it turned off randomly. I would get out of bed after waking up to turn it on and I kid you not after 2/3 steps towards the thermostat the fan would turn on instantly. The duration between the fan turning off and me getting out of bed was varied from a few minutes to 30 minutes.Is there something I’m missing? Was I tripping?
