The next rifle in my collection will be a Mauser. I owned a k98 in my past life, when they were much cheaper. I love the design and feel of an M48. Recently I almost bought a Chilean Mauser in 30-06 just because the action felt so darn solid. The more I look around the more ___(insert country here_) Mausers I find. I had no idea so many countries used the design.
What's your favorite non-k98? And why? To fit my collection I would need something at least wartime if not one that directly saw combat (hence not buying the Chilean one).
