To the guys with their own companies: How many of you hire salespeople to help get contracts and what resources have you found useful for finding additional projects?
Post Body
I've done pretty well this year as far as earnings go, but I'm still just staffing workers, including myself, for one company at the moment. I'm really wanting to get out there and get some work, even if it's initially for the larger company I'm currently subcontracting under since this would lead to more business for myself. I'm considering hiring a salesperson since I currently don't have the time to do the footwork and go to different plants/facilities and speak to plant managers. Any thoughts?
