First time millipede owner. Just got them today. Meet ‚Alpha‘ and ‚Bravo‘

They are giant african millipedes and they are about 15 - 20 cm long. They are calm and happy little buggers, already crawled around on me and their new home. I hope cucumber as a welcome food is fine. They certainly didnt complain! The petstore couldnt tell me their ages or gender. Any way I can find out?
For substrate I used a hummus/dirt mixture 2/3 and birdsand 1/3 for calcium.
Any additional tips or advice for a newbie?
