I have 2 options for moving to a blue state.

I have my oldest daughter in California who is going thru a rough time. she's in Los Angeles specifically.

I don't really like LA but having my kids together in one place sounds pretty great to me because I love my family!

then my best friend in Mass is offering a 3 bedroom apartment for my family and rent will reflect what I pay in Texas.

I know Mass has free 2 year college, a decent state health plan, I could go back to school and stuff. my schooling would change because Mass doesn't allow direct entry midwives being the Healthcare capital.

I am a single black mother of 3 mixed teenagers. I just want to make sure I'm making the best choice for myself and my family.
