If you really look at the ideas and language used to make boys more right-wing, it is very similar to how we raise boys in general. You shame boys for being like a girl, so they make social media videos comparing them to girls. You teach your son that being white is better or prettier, so they make videos attacking black people. The list goes on and on. Those toxic people know what you are teaching your son, and they know what insecurities they have. It's easy for them to embrace bigoted ideas and become right-wing, because you already normalized bigoted ideas to them. You just think you didn't, because you didn't tell your son "go hurt women" or "go hurt black people". But the idea is still there.
It's very similar to how we teach girls to not be like boys, and men will shame women by saying "you're acting too masculine" or "you look like a man". Women get really uncomfortable and quiet from those responses because it's an insecurity placed on them by society.
A huge part of the solution, is teaching people and our children to not be obsessed with the binary. The problem is that a lot of yall won't do that because you fitting in the binary makes you feel comfortable with yourself.
