Post Body

I ran into store to grab a few items really quickly with someone sitting in car, and had just brought in cash without my purse. I had a $50 and a $1, and the total came to $26.02. I checked the "leave a penny" and it was empty, and since there was NO line at all and car was parked right at at front door (perhaps 10 feet away) I'd said: "Hold on just one moment please, I'll grab the 2 cents to avoid all that change". She said "don't worry about it, I have change" and then left the $1, and handed me a twenty, 3 $1 bills, and $.98 in change. It is petty, so I wasn't going to argue, but she literally did not get the point that I was not wanting $.98 in change rattling around. Again, only mildly infuriating, but still annoyed me enough for the couple minutes to write this ;)
